Day One: Welcome to Oslo
Touch down in the Norwegian capital and you’ll be taken to your hotel by private transfer. Your first day in this exciting city is free to acclimatise and explore its many attractions. Perhaps you want to see the futuristic Opera House, designed so that visitors can walk onto its roof and admire stunning views over the fjord beyond the city. Or perhaps you fancy exploring Aker Brygge Wharf, the lively harbourside area packed with shops, restaurants and pop-up entertainment. A shipyard for more than a century, and it still maintains its authentic charm.

Day Two: Munch Time
Rendezvous with your private guide at a chocolate shop – the perfect meeting place from which to set off on a culinary adventure. Traditionally, Norwegian cuisine has a strong maritime theme; but the renowned new Nordic movement centres on nature, freshness and simplicity. Over the course of your tour, you’ll discover corners of the city off the tourist trail, sampling delicacies along the way. One of the highlights is the hip food hall Mathallen, packed with food stalls selling Nordic and international cuisine: sample rich local cheese made by smaller producers and try some local raw foods. The rest of your day is yours to explore.
