Angkor Sunrise

On this private trip, you’ll experience the incredible contrast between ancient and modern in two of Southeast Asia’s most exciting countries. Start in Siem Reap, the gateway to the UNESCO-listed temple complex around Angkor Wat. You’ll have plenty of time to explore its incredible temples - even flying high above them by helicopter (optional), as well as exploring the countryside and discovering the unique way of life in floating villages.

Afterwards, you’ll head for Vietnam to taste Hanoi’s incredible street food, visit its sprawling markets and explore by Soviet-era motorbike, before heading to magical Halong Bay: you’ll cruise its tranquil waters on an overnight trip by traditional Vietnamese junk boat, trying your hand at night fishing with the locals and waking up to a stunning sunrise over the water. Your last few days are devoted to relaxation on the beautiful beaches of Phu Quoc.

Phu Quoc

A quintessential island paradise, home to unspoilt beaches, calm crystal-clear waters and an abundance of rare and unique marine life. Half of the island is a protected national park featuring waterfalls, coral reefs, wetlands and mountains. The pace of life here is slow with sleepy fishing villages dotted along the coast. Whether you want to relax on the beach, hike to a spectacular waterfall or get up close and personal with some green turtles, you’ll finish your trip feeling blissfully refreshed.

You'll have a special welcome dinner at the hotel in the evening, the perfect start to your trip.

Most people come to Siem Reap to visit the vast 12th-century temple complex around Angkor. Today you'll get chance to visit the ''big three'' temples of the Angkor temples complex, being Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm with a knowledgable guide. For the ultimate overview, there is the option to add a helicopter flight over the temples.

During your day of rigorous temple explorations, you will pass by the Srah Srang baray or reservoir (Royal baths during the ancient Khmer Empire) where you can enjoy a private and relaxing picnic lunch in a charming Khmer village timber house, far away from the crowds. Post meal, a foot massage will soothe your temple-hopping feet before you visit the jungle-covered Ta Prohm, which had a starring role in Tomb Raider. Your trip will end around 5pm. This evening, relax or book the optional action-packed, circus-style performance courtesy of Phare Ponleu Selpak, an NGO founded to give artistic training to poor young Cambodians.

Travelling through lesser-visited parts of the city, you’ll taste street food, meet locals and see the strange and varied produce of the sprawling black market, before whizzing past the Mausoleum again, heading for West Lake. During the tour, you will try different traditional Vietnamese dishes from finger foods to the legendary egg coffee or some other traditional drinks.

Arriving at the nearby marina, you’ll transfer to a traditional junk and spend the day cruising past craggy limestone peaks, soaking up the magical atmosphere. You’ll be served lunch and dinner made from just-caught local seafood and, after admiring a stunning sunset, you’ll get the chance to try your hand at night fishing yourself.
